In the market for a color television, Lamont wants to purchase a new TV on credit, but Fred intends to spend no more than 50 dollars on a used set. Luck of luck, Fred finds just such a bargain at Guy's Groovy Grab Bag, a paneling truck which fences stolen goods. Alas, Fred has unwittingly purchased a stolen TV -- and it was stolen from his pal Grady (Whitman Mayo, in his first series appearance), who also bought it from the shady Grab Bag! When Fred tries to sell the TV to Julio, who was looking to gat a new TV, but could'nt afford one, he thinks that he broke even; but when Grady bring the police, Officers Hoppy and Jonesy back to complain about the hot TV set, neither Fred, Grady, or Julio are able to keep it; turns out the set was stolen from an establishment called "Dan The TV Man", so Fred, who sold the set to unsuspecting Julio, is forced by Lamont to give him back his $50, Grady is also out of $50!
