This Land is Whose Land? was the 54th episode of Sanford and Son. Also the 16th episode of the series' third season, it first aired January 18, 1974.
Fred, petty and prejudiced against his Puerto Rican neighbor Julio, hires a surveyor (Rodolfo Hoyos Jr.) to mark the legal property line to ensure Julio keeps his stuff off the Sanford side. When Fred and Lamont get the surveyors results, and finds out actual the property line of Julio's residence extends much further into what they all thought was the Sanfords property, Fred, in a conniving means to deceive Julio, attempts to move the markers back to what they thought was the original property lines. But, much to Fred's chagrin, Lamont tells Julio the news of surveyor, and they move the markers back to the new survey points; to catch Fred in his tracks and to stop him from moving the lines again, Lamont moves the truck inside of the Sanford line, pinning him against the front door! Eventually two arguing parties, Fred and Julio, work out a compromise.
