Pot Luck was the 36th episode of Sanford and Son. Also the 22st episode of the series' second season, it premiered February 23, 1973.
Lamont takes advantage of an ignorant seller and buys what he believes is an antique Welsh commode for $20, greedily anticipating reselling it for a tremendous profit. What he doesn't realize doesn't realize is that he is being played for a sucker by two men, Mr. Osborne (Herb Voland and Emile Bonnet (Jonathan Harris) who are clever con artists who observed him at the swap meet where he purchased what is actually a worthless new imitation commode. Based on "The Three Feathers" by Ray Galton and Alan Simpson.
