Episode synopsis[]
Grady gets uptight when Lamont brings his ex-convict friend Herman Edwards (Ron Glass) home to stay until he can find a job, which Esther is willing to give to him working in husband Woodrow's hardware store, until she learns of his prison past, before she has a change of heart and gets him rehired at the hardware stroe.
