About Mr. StoneEdit

Stone, who was expecting the two "Zanies", one song and the other dance, was upset that the other "Zanie" was not present; Al (Al Williams) had injured his hip while performing a dance routine in the Sanfords' living room, and could not do the scheduled gig. Thus, Fred, feeling indebted to Bowlegs (Scatman Crothers) beceause mistakenly thought that Bowlegs introduced him to his late wife Elizabeth, forcibly enlists the reluctant Lanont to sub in for Al, while he would perform too, singing with Bowlegs. When Stone angrily asked, "Where's the other Zanie? I paid for song and dance, so where's the dance part?" Fred, trying to divert his anger, would do his trademark knockneed walk, which made Stone laugh heartily, and say, "Look! He's walking! He's Walking!"
