Lamont, Is That You? was the 44th episode of Sanford and Son. Also the sixth episode of the series' third season, it first aired October 19, 1973.
Fred is convinced that his son Lamont has become a homosexual. This is "confirmed" when Bubba spots Lamont and his pal Rollo entering a gay bar called, appropriately, "The Gay Blade" which they enter into by accident! In truth, it's all a big misunderstanding, but try telling that to Fred, who begins reading "hidden meanings" into every one of Lamont's utterances.
