Jealousy was the eighteenth episode of Sanford and Son. Also the fourth episode of the series' second season, it premiered October 6, 1972.

When Nurse Donna (Lynn Hamilton) said she would be bringing a patient to dinner, Fred didn't expect the spry and sophisticated Osgood Wilcox (Roscoe Lee Browne), who, being the virile smooth-talker, wastes no time in making Fred, who quickly becomes jealous of Donna's attention upon him, look like a washout by comparison. On the verge of punching Wilcox before the rump roast is served, Fred is halted in his tracks when Donna reveals that Osgood is really sick!
