I Dream of Choo-Choo Rabinowitz was the 117th overall episode of Sanford and Son. Also the sixth episode of Season Six, it first aired on NBC-TV on October 22, 1976.
Fred is determined to break Choo-Choo Rabinowitz's official world record for the longest amount of time staying awake.
When Mrs. Gordon (Royce Wallace), Janet's mother, a schoolteacher, sets to visit town to receive an award for writing an essay on "How to Discipline Problem Children", Fred decides to try to break the world's record for going the most consecutive hours without sleep, to try to impress Janet's mother (also to Lamont's objections). Although everybody, including Janet's mom, offer support, when a representative for the Guinness Book arrives to check up on his progress, Fred falls short and doses off, while Bubba and Janet's son Roger both set records of their own!
