Fred works nights as a bus boy in a fancy restaurant so he can begin paying back the $6,000 bank loan he took out in order to give Lamont an impressive wedding gift.
To keep Lamont from quitting the junk business, Fred tries to get big a huge bank loan, pretending that business is booming and offering the junkyard as collateral. In his efforts to keep up this pretense, Fred moonlights as a waiter in a fancy restaurant. The trick is to keep Fred's second job a secret from Lamont, Janet (Marlene Clark) and Donna, who visit Fred at the restaurant -- and want to bet that doesn't happen?
