Hucklebuck appeared in the episode titled The Card Sharps (Season 2, episode #6). He was one of three card shark swindlers Lamont met who were trying to con him at poker until Fred entered the poker game with his special see thru eyeglasses and loaded deck and tipped things in Lamont's favor. Hucklebuck was played by Ron Glass who is best known for his role as the witty Detective Ron Harris in the ABC-TV sitcom series Barney Miller (1975–1982).
