Harold "Harry" Basch (January 16, 1926 – June 23, 2020) appeared as Doctor Jamison in the Sanford and Son episode titled Fred's Cheating Heart (Season 3, episode #17). A veteran stage, film and television actor and author/columnist, in 1951, Harry appeared in "Mr. Roberts" at the Curran Theatre in San Francisco. He was possibly best known for his role as Vince Caproni in the 1980s television series Falcon Crest. He appeared in the series from 1982 to 1984. In addition to acting, Basch has written several articles for the Los Angeles Times about traveling.[1] He and his late wife, actress Shirley Slater, also wrote several books on the subject including RV Vacations for Dummies.[2]
