Episode synopsisEdit

When two competing politicians each seek to use Fred's junkyard for a campaign headquarters, Della Reese appeals to Fred to stand by her man.

Episode summaryEdit

Under normal circumstances, Fred hates politics and politicians. Then why has Fred allowed his house to become campaign headquarters for a local candidate? The answer: The candidate's biggest booster is singer Della Reese (playing herself), whose powers of persuasion prove far too strong for Fred to resist.

Note: Actress/entertainer Della Reese, longtime friend of and future co-star on the CBS-TV series The Royal Family, guest appears as herself, Paul Reid Roman appears as Bob Williams and Marvin Jenkins appears as a piano player.
